Our foremost guarantee is that every effort will be made to insure a successful outcome of the surgery. The outcome that really counts to all of us is a baby!

In reality, many other things can affect pregnancy outcome, such as increasing age or the fertility of a new partner. Differences in healing ability are seen between individual patients, but the part of this outcome that a surgeon can take significant responsibility for is the successful repair of the fallopian tubes. Because our outcomes are predictably good, we are more than willing to share the risk of an unsuccessful result with you.

Our Plain Language Guarantee:

If the fallopian tubes are found to be unrepairable during surgery, $3500 will be immediately refunded. If desired, this can be applied to an upcoming In Vitro Fertilization cycle.

If no pregnancy has resulted after 12 full months of attempts, the tubes should be checked with an X-ray called a hysterosalpingogram. The cost of the X-ray is to be paid by the patient. This test should be done by Dr. Doody himself, to insure that it is done correctly. If this shows that there is not at least one open tube, we will refund $3,500.

If there is an open tube on at least one side, we do recommend a formal infertility evaluation to find the reason for the difficulty with conception, but we cannot refund any of the charges.

We cannot guarantee results in smokers. We may on occasion ask for a urine test for nicotine metabolites at the time of surgery.

This guarantee and special pricing are not extended to patients who have coverage for this procedure through their health plan.
